Right Side and Mid section of back

71-year-old Caucasian female was diagnosed with post herpetic neuralgia in March of 1998. The area involved was the right side of her mid section to the middle of her back. She was prescribed a transdermal gel to help treat her pain on 3-24-99. Her pain level at this time was 8 on a pain level scale ranging from 1-10. The patient was applying the Gel three times daily to the affected area. She states that she obtained relief within 15 minutes after applying the Gel, and this relief would last for 3-4 hours. She states, "It has helped my pain! I am only bothered around my navel area now, and the pain level there is at 1."
