Basal joint arthritis, right wrist

67-year-old Caucasian female who has a history of basal joint arthritis of the right wrist, underwent surgery on 2-5-99 to remove arthritic bone. She had a short course of physical therapy after the surgery. At that time, her pain level was between 4 and 5 on a Pain Assessment scale of 1-10.
